Something that is even bigger and even more far away from the center than Battersea park :)
Kew Garden is place that you just cannot check in a day. Probably 2 days are not enough either. And when you hold a camera, forget counting the days.
Kew Garden is a big park and a botanic garden as well with countless species. And based on my pictures with countless benches. So take a seat and enjoy the pictures!

As I had enough time I’ve visited parks I would not think about at all.
London is big. If you can get into a nice park within half an hour why would you travel an hour to see … an other nice park.
I wanted to visit many different parks so I checked some parks that are a bit far away from the center.
Like the Battersea park. A really great park that worth the visit. Here you can see only a small selection of the pictures I’ve made there, will get back here soon.

How can bad weather help you to make nice pictures of parks?
Can it help at all? Well, in some special cases, definitely.
So I was on my way back home from London when that volcano had erupted in Iceland. So I stayed an extra week in London. While the air was full of dirt the weather was really nice and sunny for the whole week.
I visited a different park every day. These pictures are from Regent park.

These small drops caused me big joy – hope to you as well!
I went to London for photographing an event. I’ve arrived earlier so in case of any delay, missing baggage I have time to solve the issue. Luckily nothing has happened so I had a free day – great to hang out in a big London Park. I think it was the Hyde park.
Really enormous. Logical that a really small topic grabbed my attention. A tap with a partly connected rubber tube. The sun was shining, water drops were flying all around – any my camera was clicking. Perfect afternoon!
