To capture the real personality of your model you need a good question.
It makes him / her thinking and all the layers that could hide him / her just disappear. Of course you have to have some general understanding to find that question. Like you know it before the whole photo session starts – or you have 10 minutes to find it out. Challenging but lovely moments.
However that question do not have to be a sentence. Objects can be really good questions – what the model will do with that object. That night the bean bag was a perfect question – so it was easy to record the perfect answers!

When should we make pictures of children? In the morning! … just kiddin’
In the morning they are full of energy – not like us, adults. Photography might be new and interesting them that makes them even more excited. What? You are guest? More excitement again. That means high speed no auto focus can follow :)
In this case 4 children during the weekend tried the disassemble the house – as usual – while I tried to frame them. That is challenge – that I enjoyed a lot. I needed some help though. Looked around what could make them slower: for example TV is great!
These are my favorites – after one and a half hour chase!

Do you know why small children get railroad models? Because their fathers want to play with them :) This playground showed that adults love to play! Perhaps the only difference that we take it too serious and success is more important. However I could spot many times the hidden child inside!

Many times we photographers want to be invisible so all the people would behave natural. Most of the time it is almost impossible.
However there some nice moments when your model forgets about the world around him / her. So you can be in front of him / her still not effecting his / her behavior! Like the moments you can see on these pictures!

Do children need the most up-to-date electronic gadgets? Check these picture and you’ll be sure that they can enjoy much these old-fashioned games as well! And after mastering one of them they were running around to try all the games!
Some pictures show that they gave up the game. However these were really short moments and the folling second they were laughing at the same spot – so no real low moments at all :)

I’m continuing the series about children. So you could find them at Millenáris park, a really good site for great events. They invited Guixot de 8 from Barcelona. Guixot de 8 are going around Europe to give children special games and fun! They are reusing parts of old equipments like bicycles and creating new games – you can see some results in this gallery! Games have easy rules that most children can figure out – if not the organizers help them and no language barriers could stop them :)

Something new again. This is one of my favorite series! For a week we will have children having fun on Lightchronicler!
This topic was easy. You just have to push the button and you will have a great picture of a smiling child. You have to be talented to make a bad picture :) OK, it is a bit exaggerated however I had really great number of good pictures.
Also that is why it is so difficult! Which ones should I show you? One of the most difficult ability to learn for a photographer is to chose the right photos. If you check these pictures you will see that I was in a big “trouble” :)
