The elegant environment of the Carnisdale castle served well social dance needs. Also I liked that the floor wasn’t too crowded.
As in most small camps, it wasn’t too stressed event for teachers either so they could enjoy social dance with us quite late!

Between classes and parties we had some break that we filled up with different games related to Scotland. So we had some Scottish folk dances and we had a little Highland games. Games weren’t so serious however were based on real Scottish games. Pictures tell you how much fun we had!

You must miss dancing pictures – or not? :) Well, there are few of us who cannot have enough. I haven’t uploaded dancing pictures for a while however I have some new ones from Scotland. I was the official photographer of Highland swing dance camp that was organised by Christy Guest and Paul Rankin and was held at Carnisdale castle.
Are we normal? We are Scotland where we have the spectacular nature. And beautiful castles – actually we are in a beautiful castle. We are in the home of whiskey. And we forget all of these and ‘just’ dance! These two pictures illustrate it nice! By the way we feel quite normal :)
