Dora was in a beauty shop where a make-up artist showed some new product for her – live.
So we have to make some pictures :)

Sometimes we create raw material, not the final piece of art.
I’ve already done some work to Tomi who is actively developing his web page. And he needed some portrait – matching the style and message of the web page.

Music has amazing potential – even for photographers!
It is said that one of the most important equipment in a photo studio is a … HI-FI system. Why? Because it makes your model relaxed, happy!
Does it work? Look at these pictures. He arrived. I’ve started the music. It took less than half an hour to produce all these great photos. And had lots of fun!

Here is the second part of the “average day”.
As I’ve written I was fighting keeping things simple. Here I lost. I could help looking for something special. That was a scoring moment. That we have repeated several time to capture the right expressions.
It was good to see that the players enjoyed it as much as me!

I had a job where the task was to make it really simple – that is not so simple to do.
They needed pictures for illustration into a student book. Where children can use the pictures to make up stories.
So they needed pictures where everything looks… normal. Like no flares, over-processing, flashes, … Sounds simple however I realized that every time I was thinking how can I make the picture to be more interesting. So I had to concentrate hard no to use such techniques.

Picking fruit can be fun!
I’ve always had trouble finding fun in picking fruits. Being behind the camera and watching my cheerful friends gave me a new idea.
Was it effective? Well, I might have collected more pictures than the cherry they collected :) As most of the cherry ended up in their stomach of course!

When should we make pictures of children? In the morning! … just kiddin’
In the morning they are full of energy – not like us, adults. Photography might be new and interesting them that makes them even more excited. What? You are guest? More excitement again. That means high speed no auto focus can follow :)
In this case 4 children during the weekend tried the disassemble the house – as usual – while I tried to frame them. That is challenge – that I enjoyed a lot. I needed some help though. Looked around what could make them slower: for example TV is great!
These are my favorites – after one and a half hour chase!

This series of pictures of Klaudia is not about Klaudia. Get it?
And it is not so simple :)
This pictures show the unique design of the clothes – Klaudia created. She is participating a design competition. She used old video magnetic tape to create it. So the clothes react great for any type of wind. We even tried hair dryer :)

I’ve spent some extra time with one of the LLX band, Shirt Tail Stompers.
They needed some band photos. They are playing 1920s jazz music so we tried to produce a look that is similar to old photos. Actually we knew one exact picture we wanted to copy more or less. We needed only one thing – a simple long wall. And we missed only one thing :)
So we produced 5 shots and matched old the bricks in post production. Enormous work – that made the band really happy!
