There was not much life here in the last year. Luckily just my web page, not my photography.
Over a year ago I’ve started to redesign the web page and the process halted. Did not want to update the old one and was not happy with the new design either. What you can see here is actually a second version :)
Is it ready? No, there are many small things to polish. However it is ready to add new photos!
The new design also changing the focus: I’ll blog less (actually more compared to the last year) and will work on the portfolio rather.

After a 2 and half month break I continue uploading pictures.
Sorry about it. Autumn is always a superbusy time for me.
However I was busy partly because of photography! Wedding, portrait, dance – lots of nice photo session…

Nowadays it is usual to publish a web page in “beta” status and leave it like that for years. So why is it good for me?
I’m working on this update for weeks and still have to work even more weeks to finish the web page. However I can’t upload new pictures till I start the new version.
So beta enables me to continue sharing – even with limited functionality. However it is already more than I had previously. All posts are tagged and categorized so you can easily find similar posts. Also it makes easier to find older posts. One more new function that you can rate posts with stars.
What will come in the next weeks? I’m going to make a new gallery / portfolio and some small improvements. And of course pictures :)
Do you like the new look & feel? Give me some feedback! Also if you find any errors, mistakes (like dead links, mixed English & Hungarian text, layout problems, …) please inform me.

I’ve written that I more things to announce. Well I’ve finished with the Rock that swing stuff.
And the other news will change my posts and lots of things!
During the last months I removed a wall an now I have a photo studio in my flat.
Love it! Here you can see the first picture. What is this? A 3 meter big statue I created with my friends for a month for a big international event.

Worked a lot on the pic in the last days.
The most important is that now I have fine back-up. I usually have 3 copies of all my pictures – one at off-site so no fire can destroy them. As I shot over 60 Gbytes during the camp + I process the pictures it means I need ~250 Gbytes of space. So a new hard drive is required. Anyway I can sleep fine from now on :)
Also I tagged the pictures. It means that I add some information to them like what happening (like it is a class or competition, …) and which teachers are on them. If you have many thousands of photos you cannot handle them other way. Also it is easy to check whether I have enough good shots of all teachers. And I have.
Next step is to rate all pictures: which one is worth to publish.
I already started to upload pictures to Facebook. Here at Lightchronicler I create some thematic albums so I have to run through all photos to make the right selection (means I’m going to upload different pictures here & Facebook)

Last weeks I was superbusy. Shot over 5000 (mostly) dancing pictures. Had so many great projects.
In the following weeks I’m focusing on Rock that swing dance camp pic where I was the official photographer. Was a great event and was an amazin’ place for photography! Will be tough to choose just some pic to upload here.
If you would like to buy pics from this event please be patient. Working hard on the topic and soon some information will be presented here (besides the pics)!
And after I can focus on my other big project and can reveal that secret too!
And after I will sleep…hopefully :)
