Every camp opening is special. It is a door to an other “dimension”. You step out of your ordinary life and get into an other for some days! Also the first day is very interesting: you never know who will be there. You can easily spot some of your friends from the other side of the World you haven’t seen for ages. Swinging spring had a good opening party. They made a topic night: organisers and the performaning group has dressed to train condutor, passanger, … Also we had a great buffett dinner that feels great after hour of travelling.
Here you can find some pictures from the local performing group called “Jump Session”. It is said that ‘just’ dancing is not enough to be successful – you need some stage presence, like smiling. On these pictures they do not smile. HOWEVER they wanted to be strict conductors so this is part of their show! Good to know before judging them based on some pictures :)
Minden tábor kezdete különleges. Kaput nyit egy másik dimenzióba: kilépsz mindennapi életedből, hogy pár napig egy másik világban élj. Egyben kiváncsivá is tesz az első nap: sose tudthatod, hogy kivel találkozol. Könnyen összefuthatsz pár régi ismerőssel, aki a világ másik felén él! Swinging Spring egy tematikus estét talált ki számunkra: a szervezők és a fellépő csoport kalauznak, utasoknak öltöztek be. Továbbá egy nagy büfévacsora is volt, ami egy sok órás utazás után jól tud esni.
A fotók között találtok párat a helyi fellépőcsoportról (”Jump Session”). Azt mondják, csak a tánc önmagában nem elég a sikerhez, kapcsolatot is kell találni a közönséggel – jellemzően mosollyal. Nos, ilyet ezeken a képeken nem találhattok. Mielőtt túl korán ítélnétek: szigorú kalauzokat játszanak, így nagyon is passzol az előadáshoz!

We had the big party on Saturday. Besides the live music, dress-up party and spectacular building we also had a great dinner. During the dinner we could learn some local custom. Brave enough foreign dancers also could join local dancers singing Swedish songs. Well I sticked to take pictures – I think it was the best decision for everyone :)
Szombat este volt a tábor nagy bulija. Az élőzene, jelmezes party és a gyönyörű épület mellett még egy nagy vacsorát is kaptunk. A vacsora során megismerkedhettünk pár helyi szokással és a bátrabbak megpróbálhattak svéd dalokat énekelni. Én maradtam a fotózásnál – szerintem mindenki örömére :)

You can see a tram on the flyer of Swinging Spring. Why? Because we have a special voyage with an old tram from classes to party on Sunday. The tram has a special route through the city and also we can dance on the tram! The party was held at Forum where they have the local dance classes and parties during the year.
A Swinging Spring szórólapján egy villamos található. Miért? Mert vasárnap egy különleges utazás keretében megyünk az órákról a bulira. A utat egy régi villamossal tesszük meg, amely körbejárja a várost és közben még táncolhatunk is! A buli helyszíne a Fórum volt, amely év közben a táncóráknak és partiknak ad helyet.

We had classes on Saturday and Sunday. I think it is better for the teachers to work with a group longer. So I liked that we had double classes with all teachers. The first two pictures show the Welcome ceremony (Saturday morning) and the last five ones show the Closing ceremony (Sunday afternoon). Usually teachers have some dance at camp closing for slow music however here the organisers tried to trick them. As you can see they “failed” – and we had much fun! Szombaton és vasárnap egész nap óráink voltak. Szerintem hatékonyabb, ha egy tanárpár több időt foglalkozhat egy csoporttal. Így szerencsésnek tartom, hogy dupla óránk volt mindenkivel. Az első két kép a nyitó, az utolsó öt pedig a záróceremóniát mutatja be. Ilyenkor jellemzően tartanak egy rövidebb bemutatót a tanárok – lassú zenére. Most a szervezők megtréfálták őket, de vették a lapot – ahogy a képek is mutatják!
